English translation
The person executing an arrest may use the force necessary to execute it and overcome any resistance by the person arrested or another, provided that the force permissible for use shall not exceed what is required by the necessity of preventing resistance or escape, and may not cause a person's death unless that person is accused of an offence punishable by death or life imprisonment.

لمن يقوم بتنفيذ القبض ان يستعمل القوة التي تلزم لتنفيذه والتغلب على كل مقاومة
من جانب المقبوض عليه او غيره، على ان القوة الجائز استعمالها لا يصح ان تزيد على
ما تستلزمه ضرورة منع المقاومة او الهرب، ولا يجوز ان تودي الى قتل شخص الا
