Article 236 of Bankruptcy Law

If an estate devolves upon the debtor, he must notify the trustee or the creditors—as the case may be—and his creditors shall have no right over its assets until the deceased’s creditors have satisfied their claims out of these Index of the Law 1442 Home Page Bankruptcy Law Law No. 71 of 2020 Promulgating the Bankruptcy Law assets, and the deceased’s creditors shall have no right over the debtor’s assets. If the debtor’s assets are subject to the trustee’s administration or precautionary measures have been taken in respect of them, the trustee shall take the necessary measures to protect the creditors’ interests in respect of the debtor’s rights in that estate.
