Article 53 of Social Insurance Law

A fund for insurance against old age, disability, sickness and death shall be established for the following categories: 1 - Persons engaged in liberal professions. 2 - Persons engaged in commerce whom the law requires to be entered in the commercial register, general partners, and partners engaged full-time in management in limited liability companies. - Persons carrying on activities the exercise of which requires a licence or permit from the competent authority. - Other categories whose entitlement to benefit from the provisions of this insurance is established by a decision of the Minister after the approval of the Board of Directors. The conditions and arrangements under which the categories referred to in the preceding clauses benefit from the provisions of this insurance, and the rules and procedures for registration therein, shall be determined by a decision of the Minister after the approval of the Board of Directors.
