Article 247 of Commercial Code

1 - The warehouse receipt and pledge instrument may be issued in the depositor's name or to his order. - If the warehouse receipt and pledge instrument are to the depositor's order, he may transfer them together or separately by endorsement. - The person to whom the warehouse receipt or pledge instrument is endorsed may request that the endorsement be recorded, together with Law Index 1288 Home Page Commercial Law Decree-Law No. 68 of 1980 Promulgating the Commercial Law a statement of his domicile, in the copy retained by the warehouse.
