Article 131 of Private Sector Labour Law

As an exception to the provision of Article (126) of this Law, the competent Ministry may, in the event of a collective dispute, if necessity so requires, intervene without a request from either disputant to settle the dispute amicably. It may also refer the dispute to the Conciliation Committee or the Arbitration Tribunal as it sees fit. In this case, the disputants must submit all documents requested by the competent Ministry, and they are also required to attend when summoned to attend.
