Article 111 of Code of Civil Procedure

An applicant for recusal may appeal the judgment rendered on his application concerning the recusal of a judge of the Summary Court or the Court of First Instance, even if the subject matter of the action is one in which judgment is final. The Registry shall, on its own initiative, send the appeal declaration and the recusal file to the High Court of Appeal within the 3 days following the appeal declaration. The Registry of the High Court of Appeal must submit the papers to the President of that Court for referral of the appeal to one of its circuits to consider it and render judgment in the manner set out in the third paragraph of Article (108). The Registry of the High Court of Appeal must return the case file to the Court of First Instance, accompanied by a copy of the appellate judgment, within the 2 days following the day on which that judgment was pronounced.
