Article 112 of Code of Civil Procedure

English translation

Deliberations on judgments shall be secret among the judges meeting together. No judges other than those who heard the pleadings may participate in them. Judgments shall be rendered by a majority of opinions. If no majority is obtained and opinions diverge into more than two opinions, the group smaller in number or the group that includes the most junior judge must join one of the two opinions expressed by the larger groups, after opinions have been taken a second time. The judges who participated in the deliberations must attend the pronouncement of the judgment. If any of them is prevented from attending, he must have signed the draft judgment.
