Article 8 of Traffic Law

Every motor vehicle, while in motion, must carry two plates issued by the competent section of the General Traffic Department upon completion of the licensing procedures, placing one at its front and the other at its rear. For a trailer or semi-trailer, one plate placed at its rear shall suffice. The plates must always be visible and their particulars clear so that they can be read from a suitable distance. Their location may not be changed, and the plates may not be used except for the vehicle for which they were issued. Substituting plates or changing their particulars or shape is prohibited. The Minister of Interior shall issue a decision specifying the types and specifications of plates, as well as the conditions for selling the right to use some of them and the amount of fees payable thereon. )4(
