Article 12 of Public Funds Protection Law

Life imprisonment or fixed-term imprisonment of not less than seven years shall be imposed on every public official, employee or worker concerned with the administration of contracts, supplies or works (1) Amended by Law No. 35 of 2007 Home Page - 247 - Law Index Public Funds Protection Law Law No. 1 of 1993 concerning the Protection of Public Funds relating to any of the entities referred to in Article Two, or concerned with supervising them, who obtains or attempts to obtain for himself, personally or through an intermediary, or for another, in any unlawful manner, a profit or benefit from any of the aforementioned activities.
