Article 15 of Law on the Practice of Medicine and Allied Health Professions

A practitioner is prohibited from advertising the prices of the services he provides, or any product, treatment or medical device, by any means of publication or advertising, except after obtaining the approval of the competent authority at the Ministry. A practitioner may advertise himself, his specialization, his workplace and the services he provides after obtaining a licence to practise the profession and during the term of the licence. The foregoing shall apply to all health facilities. In all cases, public morals must be respected, professional ethics observed and the patient's privacy preserved in advertisements, and claims of superiority or precedence in providing medical services or supplying health care must be refrained from. The advertisement must not contain anything offensive to any patient, practitioner, professional body or health facility. | A decision shall be issued by the Minister specifying and regulating the rules, conditions, fees and controls for advertising, and designating the competent authority at the Ministry to consider advertising applications and the procedures for submitting and examining them and issuing the necessary approval for them.
