Article 64 of Law on the Practice of Medicine and Allied Health Professions

The Ministry shall have the right to supervise and inspect all health establishments at any time. The Minister may second or assign a committee or committees composed of such employees working at the Ministry as he deems suitable, who are not licensed to practise the profession in the private sector, to conduct examinations, inspections, audits and follow-up of health establishments and all their facilities. They shall have the right to enter and examine them, request data and information, inspect their health records, and examine and take samples for analysis and auditing, for the purpose of preparing reports of observations and violations and drawing up records of the detection of offences. In performing their duties, they may seek the assistance of the police force. Those seconded or assigned by the Minister shall have judicial enforcement status pursuant to the provisions of this Law and other relevant laws. The reports and records drawn up by the committee or committees shall be submitted to the Ministry for the necessary legal measures to be taken in respect thereof.
