Article 13 of Decree-Law No. 53 of 2026 Promulgating the Law Regulating Procedures for Parentage and Name Correction Actions

The Committee shall decide the applications submitted to it pursuant to the provisions of Articles (10), (12), (11) of this Law, giving brief reasons. Its decisions shall be final and may not be challenged before the courts once the period for lodging a grievance against them or objecting to them, as the case may be, has expired. The persons concerned shall be notified thereof in writing, by email, by any modern electronic means of communication capable of preservation and retrieval, or by any other means specified by the Committee. The Committee's decision correcting or changing the name or adding or deleting the surname shall be published in the Official Gazette. Chapter Five Grievances against Decisions Issued by the Committee
