Article 15 of Decree-Law No. 53 of 2026 Promulgating the Law Regulating Procedures for Parentage and Name Correction Actions

The decision issued by the Grievance Committee approving an application to establish or negate indirect lineage, correct or change a name, or add or delete a surname shall be published in the Official Gazette. Any interested person may object to it before that Committee within thirty days from its publication. The Grievance Committee may accept or reject the objection. The decision revoking or amending the decision objected to shall be published in the Official Gazette. Decisions issued on a grievance or objection must include the grounds on which they are based.
