Article 225 of Kuwaiti Penal Code

Anyone who commits theft by using violence against persons or threatening to use it against them to overcome the resistance of the victim or another shall be punished by imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years, to which a fine not exceeding seven hundred and fifty dinars may be added, Law Index 144 Home Page Kuwaiti Penal Code Law No. 16 of 1960 promulgating the Penal Code and its amendments whether the violence or threat thereof occurs before the act of taking with the intention of preparing for it, during it with the intention of completing it, or after its completion with the intention of escaping with the stolen property or retaining it.
