Other than service by modern electronic means of communication, a copy of the notice shall be delivered to the person to be served himself, or at his domicile or place of work. It may be delivered at the elected domicile in the cases specified by law. A copy of the notice shall be delivered personally to the person to be served wherever he is found. If the process server does not find the person to be served at his domicile, he shall deliver the copy there to whoever states that he is his agent, is employed in his service, or is one of the spouses, relatives or relatives by marriage residing with him. If he does not find the person to be served at his place of work, he shall deliver the copy there to whoever states that he is among those responsible for managing that place or is one of its workers. In all cases, the copy of the notice shall be delivered only to a person whose appearance indicates that he has completed fifteen years of age and who has no apparent interest, whether his own or that of the person he represents, conflicting with the interest of the person to be served. If the process server finds no person to whom the copy may validly be delivered pursuant to the preceding paragraphs, or if any of the persons mentioned therein whom he finds refuses to sign the original acknowledging receipt or to receive the copy, he shall deliver it on the same day to the officer in charge of the police station, or his substitute, within whose district the domicile or place of work of the person to be served lies, as applicable. He shall also, within twenty-four hours of delivering the copy to the police station, send to the person to be served at his domicile, place of work or elected domicile a registered letter by post or any other postal correspondence whose delivery can be proved, enclosing the copy with either, informing him therein that the copy has been delivered to the police station. He shall record at the time—in the original notice and its copy—all ]1[ the steps he has taken to effect service. Violation of the provisions of this Article shall entail nullity. )1(

في غير الإعلان بوســائل الاتصــال الإلكترونيــة الحديثــة، تســلم صــورة الإعلان إلى نفس
الشــخص المــراد إعلانــه، أو في موطنــه أو في محــل عملــه، ويجــوز تســليمها في الموطــن
المختــار في الأحــوال التــي يبينهــا القانــون.
وتسلم صورة الإعلان لشخص المعلن إليه أينما وجد.
وإذا لم يجــد القائــم بــالإعلان الشــخص المطلــوب إعلانــه في موطنــه كان عليــه أن يســلم
الصــورة فيــه الى مــن يقــرر أنــه وكيلــه أو أنــه يعمــل في خدمتــه أو أنــه مــن الســاكنين معــه
مــن الأزواج أو الأقــارب أو الأصهــار. وإذا لم يجــد المطلــوب إعلانــه في محــل عملــه كان
عليــه أن يســلم الصــورة فيــه لمــن يقــرر أنــه مــن القائــمين على إدارة هــذا المحــل أو أنــه
مــن العامــلين فيــه. وفي جميــع الأحــوال لا تســلم صــورة الإعلان إلا إلى شــخص يــدل
ظاهــره على أنــه أتــم الخامســة عشرة مــن عمــره وليــس لــه أو لمــن يمثلــه مصلحــة ظاهــرة
تتعــارض مــع مصلحــة المعلــن إليــه.
وإذا لم يجــد القائــم بــالإعلان مــن يصــح تســليم الصــورة إليــه طبقــا للفقــرات الســابقة،
أو امتنــع مــن وجــده مــن المذكوريــن فيهــا عــن التوقيــع على الأصــل بالاســتلام أو عــن
تســلم الصــورة، وجــب عليــه أن يســلمها في اليــوم ذاتــه لمســئول مخفــر الشرطــة أو مــن
يقــوم مقامــه الــذي يقــع في دائرتــه موطــن المعلــن إليــه أو محــل عملــه حســب الأحــوال.
وعليــه أيضــا خلال أربــع وعشريــن ســاعة مــن تســليم الصــورة لمخفــر الشرطــة أن يوجه
إلى المعلــن إليــه في موطنــه أو محــل عملــه أو محلــه المختــار كتابــا مســجًلا بالبريــد أو أي
مراســلة بريديــة أخــرى يمكــن إثبــات تســليمها مرفقــا بــأي منــهما الصــورة، يخطــره فيهــا
أن الصــورة ســلمت لمخفــر الشرطــة.
وعليــه أن يــبين في حينــه - في أصــل الإعلان وصورتــه - جميــع ]١[ الخطــوات التــي
اتخذهــا لإجــراء الإعلان.
